Zendaya Gets Blonde Hair Makeover For ‘Marie Claire’ — Love Or Loathe?

Zendaya went blonde! The actress and hair chameleon changed up her look yet again, as she posed for the cover of ‘Marie Claire’ in a blonde wig with choppy bangs and lots of layers. Find out more about Zendaya’s hair makeover, and be sure to comment and let us know what you think of it.
Zendaya, 19, was named one of Marie Claire‘s Fresh Faces, and to celebrate, she chose to rock a blonde wig for her May cover. Zendaya joins Kylie Jenner, Hailey Baldwin, Ellie Goulding and Gugu Mbatha-Raw, who each have their own cover as well, talking about their influence as young celebrities.

For her cover, Zendaya tried out a look we’ve never seen her in before, which is pretty surprising considering she changes her hair more than Kylie does. In fact, Zendaya’s fearless approach when it comes to beauty has already landed her spokesmodel roles with CoverGirl and CHI Hair Care.

Sporting a long golden blonde wig that was slightly darker on the ends, Zendaya’s hair makeover included brow-skimming bangs and face-framing layers. While we’ve seen Zendaya try out cropped blonde wigs before (and even, famously, a blonde mullet), this longer look is by far our favorite.

In keeping with the fresh faced theme, Zendaya, who has been known to do her own red carpet makeup, opted for a simpler look. With clean skin and a natural lip, Zendaya added a soft pop of color on her eyes with a smudged out metallic liner.

Inside the mag, Zendaya talked about the importance of not being afraid to be yourself, addressing her debated mullet hairstyle, saying: “I wore a freaking mullet to the Grammys. I felt like I was killing it. And I was. That’s all that should matter when you step out.”
